Green Arrow finally receives his invite to the Justice League!

After six long years of Oliver Queen trying to get into the Justice League and failing, his invitation has been extended at last!

In the conclusion of “Hard Traveling Hero,” an arc that has seen Green Arrow traveling from town to town, teaming up with the likes of Flash, Wonder Woman, Superman, Batman and eventually his old pal, Hal Jordan, Green Arrow earned enough respect from the Justice League squad to finally be offered a membership on the squad. And how did Oliver respond to the invite?

In typical Oliver Queen fashion.

Despite wanting to join the Justice League since the New 52 era, Oliver declines the full-time membership—which prompts major eye rolls within the Watchtower. However, Green Arrow proposes, and the League accepts, Oliver as a part-time member who works remotely. So is he a member—yes. We’ll take it.

Outside of that major piece of news, Oliver succeeded in taking down the evil organization responsible for ruining his life, the Ninth Circle, by destroying their own orbiting fortress from which the super-villain financial empire secretly spies, steals, buys, sells and kills, thus removing their abilities entirely.

All in all, not a bad saga for the Emerald Archer.
